Emerick oil painting on canvas and board, Mrs. Emerick (1888-1972) was an Indiana artist who exhibited at the Hoosier Salon in 1944 and in numerous other exhibits in northern Indiana. “Macy’s Boat Slip” at Lake Wawasee is included in the auction and this is the painting she exhibited in the Hoosier Salon in 1944; also included are 30 other oil painting including “Springtime on Baby Mountain”, Noble County;
“Cedar Chapel” covered bridge near Auburn; “Dills Bridge” near Spencerville; several painting of Lake Wawasee and also a nice selection of European paintings all signed by Clara L.
